When to use this action
Use this when a customer would like to update the payment method used for their subscription
Steps
- Open the Subscription
- Scroll down to the Customer section on the right hand side
- Click Edit next to payment method
- Select which payment method the customer would like to use and this will be updated for all future orders
Notes & Tips
- If the customers new payment method isn’t appearing as an option, send them the “Send link to update card” from their Shopify customer account. Once they add the new payment method, it will appear in Submarine, allowing you to update their subscription.
