What is Submarine Payments?
Submarine Payments provides an alternate payment gateway option for Submarine customers using Shopify where their requirements aren't supported by first-party gateways (such as Shopify Payments) and native selling plan APIs. Some examples include:
- Merchants with workflows requiring card verification and tokenisation;
- Merchants needing subscription support for alternate payment methods such as iDEAL or Afterpay;
- Merchants with in-house or custom payment processors.
